Long Haul Underwriting Information

• Driver information required on all non-driving owners and driving record reviewed prior to providing a Firm Quote.
• Drivers over 65 years of age may qualify with a current copy of their long form physical report within ten (10)days of binding.
• No drivers under twenty-one (21) years of age.
• No drivers without a valid commercial drivers license (CDL) from their state of residence.
• No drivers with less than one (1) year of verifiable driving experience, driving the type of unit to be insured.
• Loss runs required on all risks over $25,000 in projected annual premium.
• Accounts with Federal Filings must provide prior 4 quarters fuel tax reports along with safety rating

Eligible Risks

• Accounts with 1 to 6 power units are eligible
• Single units classified as “O” units such as dump trucks, straight trucks, etc. and power units classified as “P” units such as pickup trucks that pull a trailer.
• Risks may grow above 6 power units after the account is bound.
• Almost all commodities including dump, logging, general freight, refrigerated goods, livestock, etc. are acceptable.
• Hazardous commodities and private passenger vehicles are not eligible for coverage.
• Premium Financing not allowed.
